What started off as a mild scare when rain started coming down at 6 p.m. Friday at the Jubilee Fest, turned quickly into elation, as the weather cooperated for the rest of the weekend.

The Jubilee fest that lasted from August 17 through August 19 behind the Bolingbrook Town Center, incorporated a variety of carnival rides, games, entertainment and also food and beer vendors.

Friday night started the party off with Big Suit followed by Hi Infidelity.

Saturday afternoon was highlighted by the Summer Cruze Car Show.

At night, multiple bands took the stage including Neighbor John, The Gold Coast Orchestra, Generation, Heartache Tonight and 16 Candles.

Wrapping up the weekend activities Sunday afternoon was the craft show, petting zoo and other family fun events.

For entertainment Sunday night was Claremont Drive, Denny Diamond, Nick Miller as Elvis, Shining Star and the Blooze Bros.

Jubilee Fest had no cost for admission, parking, or the shuttle bus that ran for the weekend.
