The Plainfield Police, in conjunction with the Will County States Attorney’s Office, began an extensive investigation in

mid-August after possible criminal activity related to the dangerous operation of motor vehicles was discovered on social media.
The investigation led to the issuance of 7seven arrest warrants for Paul R. Powell, 35, of the 24000 block of Prairie Grove Drive, Plainfield, IL. Powell was arrested this morning without incident. Powell was charged with: 15 counts of street racing and one count of child endangerment.
Powell’s bond was set at $400,000, and Powell was transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
The investigation also led to the issuance of one arrest warrant for Timothy J. Hagan, 47, of

Hagan
the 7600 block of Linden Avenue, Darien, IL. Hagan is a registered sexual predator. Hagan
was arrested this morning without incident. Hagan was charged with one count of street racing.
Hagan’s bond was set at $50,000, and Hagan was transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
