Outdoor pool hours
The Lockport Township Park District’s outdoor pools will switch to fall hours on Monday, Aug. 14. As of Aug. 14, Chaney Pool, located at 410 Rose Street in Crest Hill, and Heritage Falls Water Park, located at 101 Troxel in Romeoville, will be open from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Pool facilities will not be open during the week, Monday through Friday. The final day the outdoor pools will be open is Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4. Park District fall registration
Registration for Fall programs for the Lockport Township Park District opens to the public on Monday, Aug. 14. Residents of Lockport Township can register beginning Saturday, Aug. 5. Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning Monday, Aug. 7, registration will be taken in-person, by mail, by phone, and online. Hayride of Horror casting call
The Lockport Township Park District is announcing an open casting call and interviews for actors, crew, and makeup artists interested in working LTPD’s annual Hayride of Horror event. The Casting Call will be held from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15 and Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Prairie Bluff Golf Club’s Banquet Room, located at 19433 Renwick Road. The Hayride will be held on Fridays and Saturdays in October from 5-11 p.m. in Dellwood Park, located at 199 E. Woods Drive. We are looking to hire part-time actors to dress up as ghoulish and evil monsters, and we have both paid and volunteer positions available.
