Note to readers: Information in Police Blotter is obtained from Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Individuals listed in Police Blotter charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

OCTOBER 26

James Hoffman, 52, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the 300 block of North Independence for battery and public fighting.

John Hood, 50, of Romeoville, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the 300 block of North Independence for public fighting.

Juan Lopez-Rocha, 25, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:56 a.m. in the area of Renwick and Old Renwick Trail for no valid DL, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid crash and illegal use of cell phone.

OCTOBER 27

Algirdas Dainys, 39, of Lisle, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. in the 600 block of Phelps for criminal damage to property.

OCTOBER 28

Simon Rankov, 21, of Romeoville, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. in the area of Tallman and Troxel for manufacture/delivery of cannabis, possession of cannabis, disobey traffic sign, improper display of registration and loud exhaust.

A theft under $500 was reported at 4:39 p.m. in the 300 block of North Independence. An unknown person took two bottles of liquor with a total value of $86.98 from the business.

OCTOBER 29

Mario Mora, 29, of Romeoville, was arrested at 7:54 a.m. in the 600 block of Lynn for criminal damage to property.

OCTOBER 30

A criminal damage to property was reported at 3:51 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Phelps. Suspect(s) damaged a tire on a vehicle that was parked in the business’ lot.

NOVEMBER 1

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 8:24 a.m. in the 700 block of Ashton. Suspect(s) using a permanent marker drew on a parked vehicle.

Edgar Carrillo-Lopez, 29, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. in the area of Route 53 and Renwick for no valid driver’s license, no insurance and expired registration.

Andrell VanDyke, 34, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. in the 1700 block of Autumn Woods Lane for an in-state warrant.

NOVEMBER 2

Johnny Stephen, 36, of Joliet, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. in the area of Route 53 and Enterprise for driving with a revoked license, no rear registration light and improper lane usage.

Aaron Soriano-Velez, 40, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:12 a.m. in the area of Romeo and Eaton for driving with a revoked license and expired registration.

Rafat Hasan, 34, of Joliet, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. in the area of 135th and Heritage Parkway for DUI, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and speeding.

Lawrence Johnson, 25, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. in the 200 block of Tacoma for an in-state warrant.

A retail theft was reported at 11:27 p.m. in the 0-100 block of South Weber. An unknown person took a 12 pack of beer valued at $14.99 from the business.

NOVEMBER 3

Minh Ha, 29, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Alexander for unlawful possession of firearm.

Bryan Delmonico, 19, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. in the 300 block of Zinnia for criminal damage to property and criminal damage to state supported property.

On at 3:39 p.m., a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in the area of Ramsey and Sierra Trail for no valid driver’s license, no insurance, failure to yield at stop sign and illegal screeching of tires.

Ashley Lyons, 26, of Montgomery, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. in the area of Weber and Rodeo for DUI, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Victor Santiago, 49, of Romeoville, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. in the area of Roanoke and Richfield for DUI and no insurance.

NOVEMBER 5

A criminal damage to property was reported at 2:43 a.m. in the 1600 block of Lavender. Suspect(s) threw a brick through a window of the residence. Two tires were later reported slashed on a vehicle at the same residence.

On at 5:14 PM, a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for retail theft and obstructing an officer in the 200 block of South Weber Road.

Derek McClinon, 45, of Joliet, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. in the area of Renwick and Frontage for DUI, endangering health of a child, no insurance, improper lane usage and driver’s license not on person.

NOVEMBER 6

Eddie Aguirre, 38, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. in the area of Hudson and Rogers for no valid DL and disobeying stop sign.

NOVEMBER 7

A burglary from motor vehicle and criminal damage to property was reported at 7:08 a.m. in the 800 block of Harris Lane. Suspect(s) damaged a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Taillights, headlights and seats were damaged. Two I-Pads and 3 laptops were taken from the vehicle.

NOVEMBER 9

A theft under $500 was reported at 12:34 a.m. in the 1200 block Lakeview Drive. Suspect(s) took a gym bag containing headphones, cash, bankcards and clothing from a locker at the business.

Landon Allen, 43, of Romeoville, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for an in-state warrant.

Anthony Rivas, 23, of Romeoville, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. in the area of Hudson and Fenton for possession of cannabis.

NOVEMBER 10

Tavaris Dodson, 32, of Chicago, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. in the area of Crossroads and Normantown for speeding and no valid driver’s license.

NOVEMBER 11

David Rodriguez-Alonzo, of Romeoville, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 200 block of Murphy for aggravated battery.

NOVEMBER 12

Rafael Salazar-Garcia, 18, of Joliet, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. in the area of Route 53 and Normantown for no valid DL and improper lighting.

Hugo Zaragoza-Ortega, 25, of Joliet, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber for obstructing justice, possession of fraudulent ID card, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and expired registration.

Sharika Brown, 31, of Gary, Ind., was arrested at 10:28 p.m. in the area of Arlington and Camden for an in-state warrant.

NOVEMBER 13

Jenae Berry, 19, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:00 p.m. in the 1200 block of Santa Fe for an in-state warrant.

A theft under $500 was reported at 6:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Wentworth Circle. Suspect(s) took an unsecured bicycle valued at $300 from the property.

NOVEMBER 14

A theft over $500 was reported at 10:48 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Weber. Suspect(s) took a trailer valued at $13,000 that contained decking material valued at $7000 from the dock of the business.

Marcelle Childs, 29, of Joliet, was arrested at 11:49 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Normantown Road for criminal trespass to property.

Emanuel Martinez, 18, of Romeoville, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Hickory for no valid driver’s license.

NOVEMBER 16

A burglary was reported at 7:47 a.m. in the 100 block of Southcreek Parkway. Suspect(s) took seven flat screen televisions with a total value of $3078.39 from a parked trailer.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 10:40 a.m. in the 20000 block of Airport Road. Suspect(s) wrote graffiti on a for sale sign.

NOVEMBER 17

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 5:28 p.m. in the 500 block of Dalhart. Suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence and took a wallet.

NOVEMBER 19

A criminal damage to property was reported at 4:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Remington. Suspect(s) cut a hole through the fence on the property.

Ryan Bachner, 33, of Bourbonnais, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. in the 300 block of Emery for an in-state warrant.

NOVEMBER 20

Joseph Hibbs, 33, of Lockport, was arrested at 3:42 a.m. in the 400 block of North Weber Road for possession of controlled substance.

NOVEMBER 21

A theft over $500 was over $500 was reported at 9:11 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Weber Road. Suspect(s) took an empty trailer valued at $5000 from the business.
