A new breakfast and lunch place is open for business.

Bee Brothers, located at 472 N. Weber Road, just off 135th street, is officially open for business.

The restaurant is expected to serve breakfast standards, but with a few different, unique dishes.

Hence its name, the restaurant will serve freshly-made honey biscuits and have a bee-like theme, associating its interior with the colors of the honey producers.

The owners say the goal is to use the freshest ingredients possible in every dish. So, visit us today and try our wide variety of options. The menu includes breakfast like omelets, skillets, and benedicts as well as burgers, wraps and paninis and will be open everyday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A family restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, Bee Brothers will be the first foray into the restaurant business for the young ownership group, who also run El Ranchito Supermarket in Joliet.

Vacant for more than four years, the former site of Applebee’s will now be home to this new family restaurant.

Applebee’s closed in June 2013 after filing for bankruptcy and closing eight suburban locations in the same time period.
